The agreement.
This is the whole deal, written so you can read it in two minutes. It protects you more than it protects us: the promises below are the reason people hire us, so we put them in writing. You accept it at checkout, and you can print it or save it right here.
Charged today. That's us building your site around your business (your photos, your services, your words), and you approve it before it goes live.
Your first monthly charge is 30 days after today, then monthly. It covers hosting, your domain, edits, and a real person to call.
What you're paying for
The $197 buys the build: a complete, mobile-first website for your business, made from the intake you fill out after paying (photos, services, hours, service area, your story, licence number, socials). We show you a preview, you approve it, and it goes live on a domain in your name. From the day you submit the intake, our target is a preview within 72 hours.
The $97 a month buys everything that keeps it working: hosting, the domain registration and renewal, security and backups, two content changes a month done by us (send them in plain English and be as specific as possible so we can get it right the first time), and support on a phone number a human answers.
No minimum term. Cancel anytime.
There is no contract length and no cancellation fee. Cancel whenever you want with 30 days' notice: reply to any email, call us, or use the self-serve billing link in every receipt. You're billed through the end of that 30-day notice period and not a day after. Nothing renews for a year behind your back.
The $197 build fee is for work we do in the first days after you pay, so it isn't refundable once the build has started. If we can't deliver a preview you approve, tell us and we'll make it right, including a refund if it comes to that.
You own your domain and your site
- The domain is in your name from day one. You are the legal owner (the "registrant"): your name, email and address from the intake. That makes it yours, not ours. While you're a paying customer we run it for you. We're the technical contact, we keep it pointed at your site, and its yearly renewal (about $12) is already inside your $97/month, so you never get a separate domain bill from us.
- The site is yours. Your words, your photos, your reviews, your customer list. If you leave, you keep all of it.
- Take your domain with you, within 5 business days. Ask any time and we unlock it and email you the transfer (auth) code, no fee, no questions. You move it to any registrar you like and keep it yourself for about $12 a year. The one delay is a rule every registrar follows: a brand-new domain can't be moved for its first 60 days, so if you ask inside that window we tell you the exact date the lock lifts and send the code that day.
- Take your site with you. Ask and we send you a one-time full export of your finished site: every page, ready to host anywhere you choose.
If you cancel, it's a clean break. Your site keeps running through the notice period you've already paid for, then it comes down. We don't keep a cancelled site online for free, and we stop renewing the domain for you. Because the domain is already in your name it's still yours: ask for the transfer code, move it to your own registrar, and keep it for about $12 a year. Ask and we'll also send the one-time export of your finished site. Nothing you own disappears; it just moves from our care to yours.
What's included every month

Bigger jobs (a full redesign, a second site, custom features) are quoted separately, in writing, before any work starts. You'll never see a surprise charge.
What we don't do, on purpose
- No ranking promises. Nobody can guarantee where Google shows you. Anyone who says otherwise is guessing with your money, and we'd rather tell you that now.
- No SEO packages. The site is built clean and fast, which is the honest part of SEO, and that's where our SEO work stops.
- No leads. We're not a lead-selling service. The site is yours, and so are the calls it brings.
- No phone answering, no fake reviews, no review gating. If we ever add a service, we'll tell you what it is and what it costs, and you can say no.
The boring but necessary bits
- You confirm you have the right to use the photos, logo and text you give us, and that what the site says about your business is true (licence numbers included).
- We keep your information private and use it only to build and run your site. We never sell it.
- Either of us can end this agreement for a serious breach (non-payment after reminders, or a site used for anything illegal) with written notice.
- Our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the previous 12 months. We're a small team building a good site, and we can't insure your business.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. If something goes wrong, we talk first, because we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
How you accept this. Ticking the agreement box at Stripe checkout and completing payment is your signature. Stripe records your Terms-of-service acceptance on the payment, and we store the date, time, and agreement version in our system alongside your order — ask us for it anytime.
